About US

Dr. Xiao Xu

Dr. Xiao Xu is currently a senior researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich. In 2004, he was admitted directly into the joint program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From 2009 to 2016, he obtained both his Master's and PhD degrees from the Technical University of Munich. Currently, he leads a team of 5 PhD students and 8 Master's students at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. Dr. Xu has participated in the development of L4 autonomous driving systems for Germany's three major automotive manufacturers. His current research focuses include intelligent robotics, sensor fusion, human-robot interaction, teleoperation, haptic signal processing, and communication.

Qiuhai Guo

Qiuhai Guo studied Information Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree. In 2016, he began his Master's studies in Information Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and graduated in 2019. Since 2020, he has been working as a Chief Researcher at a German technology company, where he is responsible for projects related to internet technology and company operations management.
